NSBE Comments of the Built Environment Professions Bill (29/06/2008)

NSBE embraces the need for the Built Environment Professions to be regulated (that the professionals operate within the lawful parameters). The mandate for regulation emanates from the expectation of the nation to exist in a safe and a secure built environment, and to develop itself in a sustainable manner through the built environment activities. The Government accepts the mandate to regulate the professions from the society by virtue of their democratic election into office, and in turn, the society expects a safe, secure and sustainable built environment from the Government.
