Student Mentorship Program (SMP) One of the outcomes of the conference in December 2008, was the need for a student mentorship programme. The aim of this programme is to develop our students into becoming the future leaders of our economy. The SMPs mentee falls into one of two categories:
The concept of mentorship has a strong historical tradition throughout the world. Mentorship can be defined as the influence, guidance or direction exerted by a trusted and experienced guide. It has made significant impact on both the mentee, and the mentor. Today, mentorship is seen as a positive solution to many organisational challenges and difficulties.
